Dia Saba Stars as Amedspor Defeats Trabzonspor in Turkish League

Israeli footballer Dia Saba played a pivotal role in Amedspor's dramatic 2-1 victory over Trabzonspor in the Turkish league on Monday. Saba, who played the full 90 minutes, was involved in both of his team's goals.

Trabzonspor initially took the lead in the 11th minute with a goal from Mohamed Salah. Just before halftime, Saba earned a penalty for Amedspor after being fouled in the box. Although his teammate Mbaye Diagne missed the penalty, Yira Sor managed to score the equalizer.

The winning goal came in the 90th minute when Saba delivered a free-kick that led to a cross from Mehmet Yesil, which Gift Orban converted to secure the 2-1 win for Amedspor.

Following this victory, Amedspor is currently sixth in the league standings with six points from nine possible points after three matches.

In other Israeli players' performances abroad, Omri Gandelman did not play in Lech Poznan's 4-0 loss to Roma in the Italian league. Niv Eliasi was on the bench for Levadiakos's 2-0 defeat to Panathinaikos in the Greek league, and Roei Kehat was not in the squad for Sumqayit's loss in the Azerbaijani league.
