Dor Peretz Scores Again, Reaches Scoring Milestone Against Maccabi Haifa

Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Dor Peretz continued his impressive scoring streak on Monday, netting a penalty in the 14th minute against Maccabi Haifa. The goal gave his team a 1-0 lead in their second-round Israeli Premier League match. This strike marked Peretz's fourth league goal of the season and eighth across all competitions. He had previously scored a hat-trick in the opening round against Hapoel Jerusalem. Peretz has been successful on all three penalties he has taken this season, a notable increase from the two he took in the entire previous season. The match also saw Peretz make his 36th appearance against Maccabi Haifa, making him the most active player with appearances against the club. He now trails only Sheran Yeini, Avi Nimni, and Eli Driks in total appearances against Haifa.
