Missing Man Found Alive in Well After Four-Day Search
Matan Yurksel, a 34-year-old man who had been missing since August 27, was located on Monday inside a well in an open area near Kiryat Shlomo in the Sharon region. He was found by a United Hatzalah paramedic during a search operation.
Yurksel, last seen in the moshav of Harutzim, was discovered to be injured and exhausted. He sustained injuries to his back and limbs. Following a complex rescue operation by firefighters, he was evacuated by Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical teams.
He was transported to Meir Hospital in moderate condition, fully conscious. The search involved volunteers, search teams, and the K9 unit. Paramedic Yuval Yogev described finding Yurksel in the well, noting his injuries and exhaustion.
