Sara Netanyahu Says Media Would Treat Her Differently If Husband Led Left-Wing Party

Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has broken her silence regarding the media and public treatment she has endured over the years. In an interview set to air on Channel 14, she stated that the public perception of her would be "completely" different if her husband had been a leader of the left-wing political map.

Netanyahu recounted a past conversation with a senior media figure from when there were only two television channels. "If you weren't the leader of this camp and were our leader, you would be our king," the media figure told Benjamin Netanyahu. Turning to Sara, the figure added, "And you, just as you are, don't need to change anything, you would be our queen. You are simply married to the wrong person."

She expressed that it took time for people to realize that the narrative being constructed around her was "very false and very staged," often ignoring the truth. Netanyahu believes this fabricated narrative has been deliberately built to target her.
