Gadi Eisenkot Reserves Spot for Former Party Colleague
As the deadline for party list submissions approaches, political pressure intensifies within the opposition bloc, with parties exploring strategies to prevent vote loss. Gadi Eisenkot, a prominent figure, is holding a reserved spot on his list for Hili Tropper and his party, "Zionist House," which is currently polling close to the electoral threshold. Eisenkot has not yet filled all the viable positions on his list and intends to reveal the final slate only shortly before the official submission deadline. This move aims to maximize the bloc's votes and avoid a situation where a party within the bloc fails to cross the threshold and is left out.
Meanwhile, "Zionist House" has clarified that they have no intention of withdrawing or merging with another party at this stage. The party is determined to continue competing independently throughout the election campaign.
