Former Liverpool and Israeli football star Yossi Benayoun has been out of the professional football world for approximately two and a half years since concluding his role as the professional manager of Israel's national teams in March 2024. Benayoun, considered one of Israel's greatest footballers, has been largely absent from the public eye, occasionally appearing in veteran matches for Liverpool.

Despite a brief reported link to a professional manager position at Arsenal, Benayoun is currently waiting for the right opportunity. His relative, Ziv Sternberg, provided an update on Sunday, stating that Benayoun is in good health and has received offers from both Israel and abroad.

Sternberg emphasized that Benayoun is not rushing into a decision, prioritizing his family's well-being and seeking a role that aligns with his aspirations. Benayoun is reportedly aiming for a professional manager position rather than a coaching role, especially in Israel, though he might consider coaching abroad.

Benayoun is managing his own career prospects and is open to representing himself. He is looking for a suitable position that he deems best for his future in football.
