MK Sa'ada Claims System Protecting Officer in "Patzarit" Case

Member of Knesset Moshe Sa'ada stated on Sunday that various parties are seeking to silence a military prosecutor, referred to as "Patzarit," by offering her a "golden parachute" to prevent her from revealing widespread knowledge and cover-ups within the system. Sa'ada alleged in interviews that if the prosecutor speaks out, it will become clear that "everyone knew and covered up," suggesting the issue reaches the highest levels. He specifically questioned the motives of Amir Zamir, implying a struggle between Zamir and the Treasury over the matter, contrasting it with a lesser concern for another officer, "Kokh 100."

Sa'ada further elaborated that the military establishment, including the military advocate general, is concerned about the potential fallout for the system if the prosecutor decides to speak. He asserted that the desire for her silence is driven by the fear that she will expose a systemic cover-up, implying that "everyone is doing everything to protect the system."

Regarding the riots in Qusra, Sa'ada condemned the illegal actions but attributed them to a small group, not the right-wing government. He stated that the Israeli government is fighting such phenomena, while also confronting a "terrorist Palestinian Authority that encourages terror."

On the political front, Sa'ada commented on the dispute between National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging all political players, including the Likud party, to set aside their egos. He expressed confidence in the Prime Minister to resolve the situation.
