Man's Computer Passwords Crucial in Finding Missing Mother and Sister

New details have emerged regarding the role of Avitar, the Haredi son of Mally Yahalomi, in the search operation for his mother and sister, Liel, who disappeared last week. Avitar, a Torah scholar, remained in Israel with his young son and was financially supported by his mother until her disappearance. He was unaware of his mother and sister's plans and was as shocked as the rest of the family when they vanished without warning.

Avitar provided crucial assistance to the family's search team by supplying the passwords to the computer and iPad left behind by Mally and Liel in their rented apartment in Modi'in. These devices proved vital, allowing investigators to track their digital footprint and ultimately locate them.

Authorities had previously stated that Mally meticulously planned the disappearance for over a year. She had withdrawn her pension funds a year prior, using the money to finance their trip to South America. The search operation concluded last week in Argentina.
