Israeli Prize Winner Warns Netanyahu’s Re-Election Could End Zionist Project
Professor Avishai Braverman, recipient of the 2020 Israel Prize, spoke at a demonstration at Habima Square in Tel Aviv, emphasizing the critical nature of the upcoming October 27 elections. He stated that if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his regime are not removed, the Zionist enterprise will come to an end and Israel will face destruction. Braverman criticized the reckless allocation of budgets to Netanyahu’s supporters and corrupt associates during a time of war and severe geopolitical challenges, arguing that these actions serve only to preserve Netanyahu’s political survival at the expense of the nation’s future generations. He warned that this political maneuvering jeopardizes the state’s stability and the well-being of children and grandchildren.
