Mother Indicted for Threatening and Insulting Daughter’s Kindergarten Teacher in Ramla

A 48-year-old mother from Ramla has been indicted for sending threatening and racist voice messages to her 4-year-old daughter’s kindergarten teacher. The indictment, filed Thursday at the Ramla Magistrate’s Court, details a series of abusive WhatsApp messages sent on December 10, 2025, after the mother suspected the teacher of abusing her child. The teacher, identified only as A., was employed by the Ministry of Education at a municipal kindergarten in Ramla.

According to the indictment, the mother’s messages included severe threats such as "If I catch you, I will cut off your head," alongside racist insults targeting the teacher’s Ethiopian origin. The mother accused the teacher of physically abusing her daughter with slaps and sandals, though these claims are presented as allegations rather than confirmed facts. The messages also contained derogatory language and ethnic slurs, escalating the hostility.

The prosecution argues that the mother’s intent was to intimidate the teacher unlawfully and insult her as a public employee performing her duties. The case has been pending for over eight months since the messages were sent.
