This exit raises several questions about the club's transfer plans, particularly regarding midfielder Gabi Kanichovsky.

Kanichovsky, who was not fielded in Ferencváros's recent 4-0 victory over Trabzonspor that secured their progression to the Europa League, is reportedly eager to return to Israel. He has already agreed on terms with Maccabi Tel Aviv, which could expedite the deal despite the club's European disappointment. Ferencváros needed funds after losing major sponsors, but their European qualification has improved their financial situation.

Regarding foreign player signings, Maccabi Tel Aviv has a substantial budget of approximately 450 million shekels and over one million euros available for transfers. However, the coaching staff is still searching for suitable players. No foreign player has been finalized yet, as the club awaits the release of Kevin Andrade or Ion Nicolaescu before signing new additions. The priority is to fill the right-wing position first, and only after freeing a foreign player slot will they consider other positions, including center-back, especially following a costly error by Mohammed Ali Kamara in the recent match.
