Man in Central Israel Suspected of Sexual Crimes Against Minors Online, Police Urge Victims to Come Forward

Fadi Azar, a man in his 40s from central Israel, is suspected of committing sexual offenses against minors online, the police announced on Thursday. Between 2022 and 2025, Azar allegedly impersonated a 16-year-old boy on TikTok and Instagram using another minor's photo, contacting girls aged 11 to 15. Over 20 victims have been identified so far, and the police are calling on anyone affected or who had contact with the suspect or his profiles to report to hotline 105. Azar was released under restrictive conditions including 10 days of house arrest, a 90-day ban on contact with minors and educational institutions, and additional restrictions and bail. The case will be forwarded to the prosecution after sufficient evidence is gathered on charges of sexual harassment and indecent acts.

Separately, earlier this month, Alon Suissa, a 46-year-old resident of Nesher, was indicted for serious rape offenses against a 6-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, as well as sexual offenses against two girls aged 8 and 10 via the internet. According to the indictment filed by attorney Meirav Bar from the Haifa District Prosecutor's Office, Suissa committed severe sexual offenses in 2003-2004, including presenting the acts to the girl as a "game" and threatening her not to tell anyone. In another incident, he took the children to an abandoned shack, where he sexually assaulted the girl and committed indecent acts against the boy.
