Israeli Police Name Suspect in Online Sexual Offenses, Seek Additional Victims

Israeli police have publicly identified Fadi Azar, a man in his 40s from central Israel, as a suspect in multiple online sexual offenses involving minors. Azar allegedly impersonated a 16-year-old boy on social media platforms TikTok and Instagram, using another minor's photo to contact girls aged 11 to 15. The investigation revealed that Azar operated this scheme between 2022 and 2025, committing sexual offenses online.

Following his arrest, Azar was released under restrictive conditions including a 10-day house arrest, a 90-day ban on any contact with minors or educational institutions, and additional restrictions with bail. The case is currently awaiting prosecution review after sufficient evidence was gathered for charges of sexual harassment and indecent acts.

Police believe there may be more victims who have not yet come forward and urge anyone affected or who had contact with Azar or the profiles he used to contact the police hotline 105. The authorities continue to investigate and seek further testimonies to strengthen the case.
