Security Guard Collapses After Altercation Outside Israeli Music Festival in Karmiel

A security guard in his 60s collapsed outside a concert featuring Israeli artists Tippex and Gali Atari at the Merkaz Baruch parking lot in Karmiel. The incident occurred during the "Ruach Yisraelit" festival, which also includes the band Shazamat. Prior to collapsing, the guard was involved in an altercation with a man in his 40s, who was apparently denied entry to the event. The guard called the police, alleging the man acted violently toward him. While speaking with responding officers in front of the crowd, the guard suddenly lost consciousness and was found unresponsive.

Emergency medical teams arrived at 21:14 and performed prolonged resuscitation efforts, including defibrillation, successfully restoring the guard's heartbeat. He was transported to Nahariya Hospital in serious condition. The man involved in the confrontation was detained and is suspected of being intoxicated.

Separately, around 18:50 the same evening, a woman in her 30s was found unconscious at her home in Hadera. Medical teams pronounced her dead at the scene, and the circumstances of her death are under investigation.
