Malware Found on Senior Phones at Gadi Eizenkot's Political Headquarters

Malicious software designed to eavesdrop and collect information was detected on the phones of two senior staff members at the headquarters of Gadi Eizenkot, chairman of the Yisrael party. The discovery was reported on Wednesday by Channel 12 news. In recent weeks, Eizenkot's team has been conducting daily security scans on the phones of a group of employees, including some of the highest-ranking officials at the headquarters, to identify any malware threats. The malware was found in two separate cases, but Eizenkot himself was not among those whose devices were infected.

Despite these findings, the headquarters has not filed a police complaint. Instead, they continue to work daily with a cybersecurity firm that scans the senior staff's phones. Additional security measures have also been implemented to protect the headquarters' computers. The ongoing efforts aim to safeguard sensitive information amid concerns of a potential cybersecurity breach.
