75-Year-Old Woman Charged in Fatal Traffic Accident Killing Two Border Police Officers on Road 90

The prosecution filed charges against 75-year-old Helin Sahyak from Molidat for negligent homicide following a fatal traffic accident on Road 90 on August 16, 2025. The victims were two Border Police officers, Sergeant Gal Yosef and Sergeant Tomer Eliyahu Klipi, who died at the scene after colliding with Sahyak's vehicle. According to the indictment, Sahyak ignored a clearly marked stop sign and stop line at the intersection, entering the junction and blocking the path of the two motorcycle riders. The officers collided forcefully with her car one after the other, resulting in their deaths. Sahyak faces two counts of negligent homicide, reckless driving, causing damage to persons and property through negligence, and failure to obey a stop sign.
