Babov 45 Rebbe Leads Celebration as 144 Students Complete Talmud Tractates on Tisha B'Av

On the night of Tisha B'Av, the Babov 45 Rebbe spent the day at the 'Metivta' camp in the Country Hills with hundreds of yeshiva students. After the traditional lamentations, Rabbi Yehoshua Rubin, the Babov 45 Av Beit Din, delivered an inspiring speech. Following the fast, the Rebbe led the crowd in a Kiddush Levana ceremony outdoors, followed by a festive tish.

That evening, the Metivta students celebrated a remarkable achievement: 144 young men each completed an entire Talmud tractate individually. Together, their combined efforts amounted to multiple consecutive completions of the entire Babylonian Talmud. The Rebbe addressed the students, blessing them for their dedication to Torah study and expressing hope that their learning would protect the community and hasten the ultimate redemption.
