Gantz's National Unity Party Unveils Knesset List with Aliza Bloch at Third Place

The National Unity party, led by Benny Gantz, has submitted its list of candidates for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections, seeking to retain the "YN" (כן) letters used in previous campaigns. The list was filed by incumbent MK and faction chairwoman Pnina Tamano-Shata and newcomer Aliza Bloch, who is placed third.

The party's slate emphasizes gender parity, with women occupying five of the top ten spots (2, 3, 5, 8, and 10). The list also includes diverse representation, featuring two residents from northern Israel, three from the Gaza envelope communities, two kibbutz members, one moshav member, and a representative from the Druze community.

The top five candidates are party leader Benny Gantz, MK Pnina Tamano-Shata, new additions Aliza Bloch and Roey Kunkol, and Rotem Avidar Tzalik.

In a statement, Gantz declared, "The State of Israel must establish a broad Zionist government that will allow it to contend with the nation's challenges. The National Unity slate is comprised of worthy and principled individuals who believe that only a cross-bloc government can act for the country, pass a universal service law, establish a state commission of inquiry, and advance state education for all. We will continue to put the State of Israel first."
