Israel’s Knesset Economics Committee approved a traffic points reform that removes double punishment for multiple offenses in one incident and eases several minor violations. The new rules also raise points for serious safety offenses and are expected to take effect in about 30 days, with the one-year points expiry starting later after technical preparations.
