Singles Event 'A Time to Love' Returns to Jerusalem With Boutique Format

Project 252 and Ono Academic College are launching the 'A Time to Love' singles event on September 8th at the Talpiot campus in Jerusalem. This year, the event will adopt a boutique format, limited to 300 religious-national singles aged 20-35. The initiative aims to provide a more intimate setting for participants to connect and receive practical tools for finding a partner.

According to Tzuriel Gabizon, founder of Project 252, the decision to limit attendance stems from feedback on previous larger events, highlighting a demand for both meeting opportunities and guidance for relationships. "This time we wanted to take everything that worked in the large conferences and build an event where you get lost less in a huge crowd, and there are more real opportunities to meet, talk, and get to know each other on an equal footing," Gabizon stated.

The event, scheduled to begin in the afternoon, will feature parallel tracks including lectures, workshops, speed dating, and open conversation spaces. Participants can choose their preferred activities throughout the afternoon and evening. An accompanying dating app developed by Project 252 will also be active during the event, allowing attendees to see who is present, express mutual interest, and continue conversations beyond the scheduled speed dating sessions.

Several lecturers and professionals, including Rabbi Yoni Lavi, Yael Amity, and Ronita Abramoff Shapira, will participate. Their sessions will address common challenges in dating and relationships, such as identifying emotional barriers, improving communication, and building lasting connections. The event will also include designated seating areas and food stalls. The evening will conclude with a performance by singer Amir Moyal.
