Garmin Launches Advanced Fenix 9 Sports Watch Series in Israel with Titanium Body and Largest Display
Garmin has introduced the new Fenix 9 series in Israel, marking the latest generation of its rugged sports and outdoor watches. The lineup includes three models: Fenix 9, Fenix 9 Pro, and Fenix 9 Pro Connected, available in 43, 47, and 51 mm sizes, with prices starting at 4,399 shekels. The series features significant upgrades such as a new processor, 50% more RAM, and a faster mapping system with up to 30% quicker navigation and a new Perspective View that shows the route ahead.
The standard Fenix 9 model boasts a brighter AMOLED screen, scratch-resistant sapphire glass, water resistance up to 40 meters, and doubled storage capacity to 64 GB, allowing for twice as many maps and up to 7,000 songs stored directly on the watch. Garmin also enhanced fitness tracking with Garmin Epic, which aggregates activities over days or weeks into a single event, and new endurance tracking tools like Stamina Zones and Stamina Curve that monitor stamina changes over time.
The Fenix 9 Pro introduces a full titanium body for the first time in the series, using Nano-Molding technology to reduce thickness and weight without sacrificing durability. It also features the brightest AMOLED screen yet in the series, reaching 3,000 nits, with the 51 mm model sporting a 1.5-inch display, 15% larger than its predecessor without increasing watch size. Some Pro models include solar charging and a new green light mode for better night vision.
At the top end, the Fenix 9 Pro Connected adds LTE and satellite connectivity, enabling phone-free communication with calls, messaging, SOS, and live location sharing via Garmin Messenger and LiveTrack. Battery life ranges from up to 29 days in smartwatch mode for the largest Fenix 9 to 31 days for Pro models, with Connected solar versions offering up to 57 hours of activity and 124 days in battery saver mode under sunlight.
Garmin's Fenix 9 series thus combines advanced hardware, enhanced fitness and navigation features, and extended connectivity options, catering to outdoor enthusiasts and athletes seeking a robust, feature-rich smartwatch.
