He added that Channel 12 and Shin Bet professionals believed permanent security for the family was unnecessary, a view shared by security officials before Yair Netanyahu himself requested protection. Iranian operatives had surveilled his residence and daily routine, prompting urgent warnings to U.S. authorities. Yair Netanyahu was instructed to leave Miami immediately, abandoning personal belongings, and has since returned to live in Israel.
