Israeli Singer Omer Adam Marries Sasha Yisraelovitch in Intimate Italian Ceremony

Israeli pop star Omer Adam and Sasha Yisraelovitch surprised fans by announcing their marriage with a private civil ceremony held in the picturesque fishing village of Portofino, Italy. The couple shared their first wedding photos on Instagram, where Sasha wrote "Yours forever" in English. Sasha wore a wedding dress by Italian designer Alberta Ferretti, valued at around $2,000. Shortly after the announcement, Sasha changed her Instagram surname to Adam.

The civil ceremony marks the beginning of a two-day celebration, with a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony planned for the following day. The religious ceremony will be conducted by Chabad emissaries Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Hazan from Milan and Rabbi Mendy Gurevich from Mishmar HaShiva. It is expected to feature gender-segregated seating, reportedly because the chuppah and kiddushin will be officiated by Motty Steinmetz, a popular Hasidic singer whom Adam admires.

The wedding festivities will include notable Israeli entertainers such as the trio "Ma Kashur" (Assi Israeloff, Zion Baruch, and Shalom Michaelashvili), Lior Narkis, Eden Pines, Osher Cohen, Aviv Geffen, Sharon Kaufman, Moshe Peretz, Amir Dadon, and Eran and Shay Zehavi. The couple's decision to hold both a civil and religious ceremony reflects their connection to both secular and religious traditions.
