Kretshnif-Sighet Rebbe Moves Residence from Beit Shemesh to Jerusalem on First Anniversary of His Ascension

On the first anniversary of his ascension following the passing of his father, the late Rebbe, the Kretshnif-Sighet Rebbe relocated his residence from Beit Shemesh to Jerusalem. Until now, the Rebbe had lived in Beit Shemesh, where he also established his study hall during his father's lifetime. Although he frequently spent time in Jerusalem over the past year alongside his followers, his official home remained in Beit Shemesh.

On Monday evening, the Rebbe moved his belongings to a spacious new apartment in Jerusalem, located near the Kretshnif-Sighet Hasidic center on Rappaport Street. This apartment previously belonged to his late father, and the move marks the conclusion of his residence in Beit Shemesh. The relocation was met with joy among his Hasidim, who see this as a significant step in the community's life.

The move also symbolizes a unification of different Hasidic groups, including Lithuanian and Sephardic followers, who gather together in the community's study hall. The Rebbe’s presence in Jerusalem is expected to strengthen the Hasidic center there and continue the legacy of his father.
