Israeli Lawyer Arrested for Systematic Forgery of Documents for Drivers with Revoked Licenses

Israeli police arrested a lawyer in his 60s from Tira on suspicion of systematically forging documents. The lawyer allegedly created numerous fake documents for drivers whose licenses had been revoked, falsely presenting to courts, police, and the licensing authority that these drivers had surrendered their licenses and served their suspension periods. In reality, these drivers continued to drive illegally. The investigation was conducted over recent weeks by the Fraud and Cybercrime Unit in the Central District. Searches were carried out at the suspect's home and office as part of the inquiry.
