Tal Tito leaves ‘Big Brother’ with a romance and a looming defamation lawsuit
Tal Tito, one of the standout contestants expected to reach the final of “Big Brother,” was unexpectedly evicted on Saturday night, but she did not leave the show empty-handed. During the season, she formed a romantic connection with fellow housemate Tamir Golan, and the two reunited immediately after her exit.
By Monday, just two days later, Tito and Golan posted a joint Instagram story that left little doubt they are officially together. Tito also made her intentions clear in an interview with Channel 13’s social media team right after the eviction, saying, “God willing, of course. My husband, God willing. באמת, אני לא צוחקת” [“I’m really not joking”].
Outside the house, however, Tito is also facing a serious legal problem. While she was in the “Big Brother” house, old posts she had written on X, formerly Twitter, resurfaced, including messages attacking singer Eyal Golan. The singer responded before her exit by filing a defamation lawsuit against her.
In the lawsuit, Golan alleges that Tito falsely portrayed him as a pedophile and rapist, calling the posts “false and defamatory publications intended to harm him and present him in a negative light.” One of the cited posts reads, “Eyal Golan is a pedophile. Consent, no consent, rape, no rape, first and foremost he and his father are pedophiles. And yes, sexual relations with minors handled by welfare is sexual exploitation that also led to rape.” Tito appeared to acknowledge the looming case with humor, posting on Sunday, “How did I not delete tweets before, שמע ישראל.”
