IDF Fallen Honored with Torah Dedication at Bnei David Yeshiva

A special Torah scroll dedication ceremony was held at the Bnei David Yeshiva in memory of 33 alumni who were killed during the recent war. The event took place in the presence of bereaved families, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Rabbi Eli Sadan, head of the Bnei David institutions, and Rabbi Yigal Levinstein. The Torah scroll was dedicated to honor the fallen graduates, with tributes paid to their families for their sacrifice.

During the ceremony, Finance Minister Smotrich praised the alumni, stating that thousands of students and graduates from Bnei David gave their lives throughout the war, exemplifying the values of Religious Zionism through a remarkable combination of study and military service. He expressed his emotion at participating in the dedication, calling the fallen "heroes of Israel" and "heroes of Bnei David."

The event also included participation from the yeshiva's leadership, rabbis, and families of the fallen, serving as a memorial to those who lost their lives in the fighting. This dedication is part of ongoing efforts to commemorate the alumni who died during the conflict.
