Moti Carmel Releases New Breslov Nigun Medley 'Light of the Path' for Pilgrims to Uman

As thousands of Breslov Hasidim prepare for their annual pilgrimage to Rabbi Nachman of Breslov's grave in Uman, a special musical project debuts in the Jewish music scene. Singer Moti Carmel has launched a captivating medley combining beloved Breslov nigunim (melodies) designed to accompany travelers both spiritually and physically on their journey.

At the heart of the medley is Bini Landau's song "Light of the Path," inspired by one of Rabbi Nachman's most touching sayings from the book "Chayei Moharan": "I wish to merit seeing the clear light of the path you travel to me." This phrase has become a defining symbol of the pilgrimage to Uman. The medley also features energetic arrangements of other cherished Breslov songs, including "In Breslov Burns a Fire," "Like Roaring Beasts in the Forest," "Give Me Your Heart," and "In You, Our Rabbi, We Rejoice" by Israel Dagan.
