Ghana Midfielder Kwasi Sibo Signs Lucrative Four-Year Deal with Libyan Club Swahili SC

One player linked to Maccabi Haifa was Ghana national team midfielder Kwasi Sibo, who recently ended his contract with Spanish club Real Oviedo. However, Sibo will not be joining Haifa as he has agreed to a significant four-year contract worth $10 million, including bonuses, with Libyan club Swahili SC. The deal reportedly offers him a monthly salary of approximately $80,000 plus substantial bonuses.

Sibo, who made four appearances in the last World Cup, attracted interest from several clubs including West Ham, Hull City, and Coventry, some of which initiated talks with his representatives. He will join former Israeli Premier League player Lameck Banda, who recently transferred from Lecce in Italy to Swahili SC. This move marks a notable step in Sibo's career following his stint in Spain and international exposure with Ghana.
