Retired Brigadier General Danny Shachar Joins Israel Beytenu, Emphasizes Need for Decisive Leadership

Israel Beytenu announced the addition of retired Brigadier General Danny Shachar to its ranks. Shachar is described as a military and senior public administration figure with decades of experience in state service. He began his military career as a combatant and commander of combat teams in Shayetet 13, later holding several senior command roles, including commander of the undercover unit operating in the Gaza Strip.

Following his military service, Shachar continued in public and managerial roles, serving in senior positions at the Netanya Municipality and the Ministry of Public Security. Upon joining Israel Beytenu, Shachar stated, "My experience has taught me that in the most complex times, a country needs leadership that knows how to make decisions, withstand pressure, and take responsibility."
