AI expert Dalia Baida highlighted Google’s Notebook Gemini tool in a recent interview on the program "HaOlam HaBoker," demonstrating its ability to process uploaded study materials, such as history chapters, and generate summaries, source-based chats, and audio podcasts that make the content more accessible.

A key advantage of Notebook Gemini is its controlled environment, where AI operates strictly within the uploaded material, preventing the invention of facts or reliance on external information. For humanities subjects like history, the system offers interactive and visual tools to aid exam preparation, including automatically generated flashcards and multiple-choice or open-ended questions based solely on the provided content.

Beyond written exercises and podcasts, the tool can also create illustrative AI-generated videos. For STEM subjects and mathematics, the approach shifts to using the standard Gemini app, where students can upload screenshots of problems and engage in a personalized learning mode. This mode guides users step-by-step through exercises without immediately revealing full answers, fostering deeper understanding, according to Baida.
