Kiton Wallace, the team's new guard, will join training this week after receiving special permission to arrive about a week later due to his recent wedding. Former player Deni Avdija, who left Maccabi six years ago for a successful NBA career, also visited the club recently.

The biggest source of excitement at Maccabi is the return of forward Bonzi Colson, who rejoined the team after two years with Fenerbahçe.
