Israel Bars Entry to Two European MPs Planning Visit to Palestinian Authority

At the request of Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, the Population and Immigration Authority has denied entry to two European Parliament members who intended to visit the Palestinian Authority. The two politicians, Jonas Sjöstedt and Hanna Gedin from the Swedish Left Party, were scheduled to arrive in Israel overnight between Sunday and Monday. Their entry was refused because they have consistently acted against Israel in recent years, including advocating for international legal proceedings against Israelis. Additionally, they have publicly spread false accusations against Israel, such as claims of genocide, deliberate starvation, and targeted harm to children and medical personnel. This decision was made in accordance with Israeli entry laws and reflects the government's stance on individuals perceived as hostile to the state.
