Beersheba Man Caught Driving Without License for Sixth Time Flees Police in Second Vehicle

During a traffic enforcement operation on Road 31, Beersheba police officers spotted a driver using a mobile phone while driving. Upon investigation, the driver was identified as a resident of Tel Sheva who was driving without a license for the sixth time and was under a fifth license suspension. When asked to wait for further checks, the suspect disobeyed police orders, left the scene, got into another vehicle, and fled. A police investigation was launched, and the suspect was subsequently arrested. Over the weekend, charges were filed against him, including driving without a license, driving during a suspension, disobeying police orders, and using a mobile phone while driving, along with a request to detain him until the end of legal proceedings.

In a related incident last month in Beersheba, police stopped a suspicious vehicle for a routine check. The driver fled, leading to a pursuit that ended with the discovery that the driver was a 14-year-old boy who had never held a license. Two other minors were also in the car, and they claimed the ride was ordered via the "Gett" app. The underage driver was arrested and transferred for further investigation, and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
