Arkia Airlines Welcomes First Female Captain Flying with Her Pilot Father

Arkia Airlines marked a historic milestone this week by certifying Adar Madutzki as its first female jet captain. Alongside this professional achievement, a unique family moment was celebrated as Adar will now fly alongside her father, Tal Madutzki, who has been a captain at Arkia for over 15 years. Both were officially certified as captains of the airline's Airbus A320/321 aircraft during a formal ceremony last week, joining the ranks of senior pilots at the company.

Adar's certification represents a significant career milestone, requiring extensive flight experience and completion of a rigorous training program. Her father, Tal, currently pilots the airline's Embraer planes, and together they form the first father-daughter captain duo in Arkia's history.
