Young Pedestrian Dies in Fatal Car Accident Near Netanya on Highway 2

A man in his twenties was killed in a severe traffic accident on Highway 2 near the Netanya interchange during the night between Saturday and Sunday. The pedestrian was struck by a private vehicle and found unconscious with multiple severe injuries beside the road. Emergency medical teams arrived promptly after receiving the call at 23:19 and provided life-saving treatment, including resuscitation, before transporting him to Laniado Hospital in a critical condition. Despite medical efforts, doctors declared his death at the hospital. The victim was identified as a Tel Aviv resident in his twenties. The Israel Police's Central District traffic investigators have opened a probe into the fatal collision involving the pedestrian and the vehicle on the southbound lane of Highway 2 near the Ha'ari interchange in Netanya.
