Trump Launches Sharp Attack on Tucker Carlson and Former GOP Allies
Former U.S. President Donald Trump launched a fierce public attack against conservative media personality Tucker Carlson and two former Republican Congress members, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie, on August 22, 2026. In a blunt social media post, Trump labeled the trio as a "loser trio" following a recent meeting and directed a series of personal insults at them.
Trump targeted Carlson most heavily, criticizing his declining TV ratings and calling him "a very low IQ individual" who barely graduated college. He also suggested Carlson should be required to pass a cognitive test if he ever runs for political office, dismissing his chances and calling him a perpetual loser. Carlson is known for his anti-Israel stances and occasional antisemitic remarks.
Regarding Greene, once a prominent Trump supporter, he called her a "traitor" and mocked her surname, claiming she turned from an extreme conservative to a "liberal fool" within weeks simply because she did not return his phone calls. Trump blamed his withdrawal of support for her drop in Georgia polls and her eventual political decline.
Trump also criticized Massie as a "failed politician" who habitually voted "no" on all bills regardless of content or quality. He concluded by saying the only option for the three was to join the radical left-wing Democrats, ending his post with the phrase, "Thank God! President Donald J. Trump."
