New York Police Liaison Returns to Sharon District Headquarters in Israel

Detective Charlie Ben Naim, the New York Police Department's liaison in Israel, has resumed his position at the Sharon District headquarters in Kfar Saba. His return comes despite the public anti-Israel stance of New York City Mayor Eric Adams' predecessor, Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Ben Naim had left his post ahead of the November mayoral elections in New York City. The NYPD spokesperson confirmed that institutional cooperation with Israeli police continues uninterrupted and clarified that Mayor Mamdani did not order any suspension of collaboration with Israeli law enforcement agencies.
