Unknown Vandals Damage Jewish Quarter Memorial in Jerusalem Ahead of Soldier's Funeral

Unknown individuals vandalized the memorial dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the Jewish Quarter during the 1948 War of Independence, located on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. The police have launched an investigation into the incident. The memorial site is set to host the funeral tomorrow of Staff Sergeant Yehuda Yekutiel Katz, who died in battle at Sultan Yaakov 44 years ago. His remains were recently returned to Israel this week.
