Apple Cuts iPhone 17 Pro Prices in Israel Ahead of iPhone 18 Launch
Apple has reduced the prices of its two premium iPhone models, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, in Israel by approximately $90, translating to about 320 shekels across all storage capacities. In Eilat, where prices exclude VAT, the discount amounts to roughly 270 shekels. This price cut was communicated directly to several importers in Israel and is expected to be reflected in local retail prices. The move is notable as it comes during a period of rising costs for memory and storage components, a trend dubbed "RAMmageddon," which has generally driven up production expenses in the tech and smartphone industries. Unlike a temporary retailer promotion, this price reduction originates from Apple itself. The timing also coincides with the imminent unveiling of the iPhone 18 series, which may have influenced Apple's decision to lower prices on the current Pro models.
