Apple Plans September Launch for iPhone 18 Pro Models and First Foldable iPhone

Apple is expected to unveil several new devices this September, including the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the company's first foldable iPhone. The standard iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 models are anticipated to arrive only in spring 2027. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will feature the new A20 Pro chip, new colors, and a Dynamic Island that is approximately 35% smaller. A notable upgrade is the main camera, which is rumored to have a variable aperture for the first time, allowing control over light intake and background blur. The Pro Max model is also expected to have a battery about 10% larger. The most surprising new device is the foldable iPhone, reportedly named iPhone Ultra.
