Police Raid Apartment in Ramat Hasharon Seize Military Stun Grenades and Drugs

Israeli police raided an apartment in Ramat Hasharon and discovered four military stun grenades along with various types of illegal drugs. The raid, conducted earlier this week by detectives from the Glilot station in the Yarkon area, was part of an operational activity targeting suspected criminal activity. The stun grenades were hidden in the apartment, and the drugs were found in quantities suggesting distribution rather than personal use, with some already divided for sale.

A 43-year-old resident of Ramat Hasharon was arrested during the operation and taken for questioning. Although he is known to the police, he is not currently linked to any specific criminal organization, and the purpose or intended recipient of the stun grenades remains under investigation. Following the raid, the Tel Aviv District Commander signed an administrative closure order for the apartment, effective for 30 days until September 18, under the law restricting the use of premises involved in criminal activity.

The suspect's detention was extended by a court until August 23, and the investigation is ongoing. Police continue to examine the background and connections related to the case.
