Four-Year-Old Stabbing Victim in Beit Shemesh Released from Hospital After Significant Recovery
A four-year-old boy who was seriously injured in a stabbing attack in Beit Shemesh, in which his 7-and-a-half-year-old brother Hillel Mordechai Dadon was killed, has been discharged from Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital following notable improvement. The boy was admitted to the hospital immediately after the attack, underwent surgery upon arrival, and received intensive care in the pediatric intensive care and surgical units. Professors Dan Arbel and Nir Hirschhorn, heads of pediatric surgery and complex head and neck surgery at Hadassah, reported significant progress after several days of treatment. Although the child has been released to return home, his medical care is ongoing, and he will continue to be monitored in hospital outpatient clinics until full recovery. The stabbing incident occurred earlier this week in Beit Shemesh, resulting in the death of the older brother and serious injury to the younger. The medical team’s decision to release the younger boy reflects his substantial recovery following surgery and intensive care.
