Maccabi Haifa to Debut Forward Novakovic in Season Opener Against Hapoel Ramat Gan

Maccabi Haifa is preparing for its opening match of the season against Hapoel Ramat Gan this Saturday. The club will officially register forward Andrea Novakovic today (Thursday), allowing him to make his debut in the green jersey. Novakovic's registration was made possible after midfielder Peter Agbawa obtained Hungarian citizenship, following his decision to decline offers from clubs in Slovenia, Russia, Austria, and Greece.

Maccabi Haifa is also hoping that midfielder Goni Naor will find a new club, which would complete the departure of players not in the team's plans. Additionally, Amit Arzi may go out on loan once he recovers from a quadriceps muscle tear. Meanwhile, Ali Mohamed, who missed recent matches due to injury, is expected to return to the squad for the season opener, while Guy Melamed remains doubtful for the game. The club is finalizing its roster ahead of the league kickoff.
