Trump Warns Iran Will Use Nuclear Weapons If Armed, Vows to Prevent It

Former U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his firm stance against Iran acquiring nuclear weapons, emphasizing the real danger he believes Iran would use such arms if obtained. Speaking about the current pause in negotiations with Iran, which he ordered, Trump said there might be a resumption of talks in the future but stressed the present situation is stable. He insisted that Iran must completely dismantle its nuclear arsenal, stating, "They have to get rid of it completely; they must get rid of nuclear weapons. Iran cannot have nuclear weapons." Trump further clarified his position by saying, "You know why? Because they will use it. And we will not let them use it. So, Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. And they will not do it."
