IDF Targets Nukhba Commanders in Gaza Port Strike Linked to October 7 Attack
Following an attack at a café in Gaza City’s port area that Palestinians say killed six people, the IDF confirmed it targeted commanders of the Nukhba unit during a meeting. The strike hit a platoon commander, three company commanders, and several other militants. According to the IDF, these militants were involved in planning terrorist operations against Israeli forces in Gaza, and one of them participated in the October 7 massacre inside Israel. The IDF stated that measures were taken beforehand to minimize harm to civilians and promised to provide updates on the strike’s outcomes.
