Herzliya City Council Member Jonathan Yakubovich Joins Yisrael Beiteinu and Supports Avigdor Lieberman
Jonathan Yakubovich, a lawyer and former member of the Herzliya City Council representing the State Camp faction, has announced his move to the Yisrael Beiteinu party and his support for its chairman, MK Avigdor Lieberman. Yakubovich is a commercial and civil attorney with around 15 years of experience in law, business, and public activity. He has founded and led companies, managed business development, and handled complex deals in technology, infrastructure, and real estate, while also working with local authorities and public bodies.
Alongside his business career, Yakubovich has been active in environmental advocacy, representing the surfing community in national planning committees and co-leading the "City Without Plastic" initiative. Explaining his decision to join Yisrael Beiteinu, he praised Lieberman as a strong and experienced leader with a clear worldview and the courage to make and stand by decisions.
Yakubovich expressed his belief in Lieberman’s approach, emphasizing uncompromising security, true equality in national service, and the principle of "live and let live." He supports a Jewish state that respects tradition while allowing individuals the freedom to live according to their own ways without coercion.
