Police Find Guns Thrown Onto Roof During Raid in Tayibe, Five Detained
During a police operation in Tayibe on August 17, officers discovered a green bag containing two Glock pistols, seven magazines, ammunition, gloves, and a black veil on the roof of a building. The bag was allegedly thrown onto the roof by suspects during the search. The raid was conducted by detectives from the Tayibe station in the Central District, alongside fighters and detectives from the Central Border Police. Two Tayibe residents, aged 18 and 20, were arrested and taken in for questioning. Additionally, three other residents, two women aged 21 and 42 and a 48-year-old man, were detained for investigation. Police stated that the operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat crime and illegal weapons possession in the city.
