Professor Yuval Elbashan Joins Israel Hayom as Senior Legal Commentator

Israel Hayom announced the appointment of Professor Yuval Elbashan as its new senior legal commentator. His columns will be published throughout the week and in the weekend supplement "Israel This Week." Professor Elbashan, 56, is a writer, community lawyer, and associate professor of law who previously served as dean of the Faculty of Law at Ono Academic College. He has been active in media since 2002, contributing to various newspapers and radio stations.

Elbashan holds a bachelor's degree in law with honors from Tel Aviv University and a master's degree with honors from the Hebrew University. In 2015, he was awarded the rank of associate professor by the Higher Council for Academic Appointments. He has authored seven novels, including bestsellers such as "Always Flora," "Sipo," and "The Masada File," as well as five legal books, including "Strangers in Law," "Lawyers of the Oppressed," and "The Last Appeal."
