Avigdor Lieberman Urges Right-Center Politicians to Withdraw from Election Race
Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, has called on several new right-center political figures to drop out of the current election race. Speaking in an interview with 103FM, Lieberman specifically addressed Hili Tropper, Yoaz Hendel, Benny Gantz, Gilad and Yuli Edelstein, stating that none of these politicians or their new parties have a realistic chance of passing the electoral threshold. He criticized their campaigns as driven by personal ambitions rather than genuine political viability and urged them not to waste voters' ballots. Lieberman emphasized that his party remains open and attentive to cooperation but warned against what he called "foolishness" in the political arena.
Additionally, Lieberman mentioned his coordination with Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the "Yashar!" party, confirming that all arrangements between their parties have been finalized. He stressed the importance of focusing on increasing voter turnout as the key priority moving forward.
